Island Sports Physical Therapy in East Northport is a friendly and caring professional practice that provides an encouraging environment to attain all of your goals. We are a 30-year-old practice treating our Northwestern Suffolk County Communities. At Island Sports Physical Therapy in East Northport, we provide individualized hands-on care to enhance your rehabilitation. We utilize our extensive array of exercise equipment and modalities to care for your injury. We have taken technology and education and created a marriage of medicine and exercise science.
Island Sports has earned a great reputation with Huntington Hospital, St. Catherine’s, St Charles, Good Samaritan, and Mather Hospital. We work closely with all local high school athletes from Commack, Northport, John Glenn, Dix Hills, Kings Park, and Half Hollow Hills. We proudly provide care for NYFD, NYPD, SCPD, NCPD members, as well as our local Volunteer Fire Departments and local EMS workers.
Robert Ciani, MSPT, Director
Robert attended Towson State University and received his B.S in Biology. He completed his professional training at Touro College and received a B.S in Health Sciences and a master’s degree in Physical Therapy. He started his professional career with Island Sports in 2000 and has been with the company for 22 years. He began his career at our Glen Cove location and earned the title of assistant director. He then became the director at Island Sports of Huntington. He later earned the directorship at Island Sports of East Northport, where he is presently. He enjoys working with the orthopedic population especially young athletes. He likes to work with all joint replacement patients, restoring function to improve their quality of life. Outside of the clinic Robert enjoys spending time with his friends and family, playing golf and working in his vegetable garden.

Take L.I.E. to exit 51 north Deer Park Avenue. Pass Dix Hills Fire Department, bearing right at split in the road. Continue approximately 1.2 miles to Route 25 (Jericho Tpke.).
