FORMS OF GERIATRIC PHYSICAL THERAPY
Exercise: Designed to both maintain and improve a person’s coordination, muscle strength, flexibility, endurance, and balance. The goal is to increase mobility and lessen their chance of injury through falling. Exercise in relation to geriatric therapy might include:

Manual Therapy: Manual therapy is used to reduce any joint or muscular pain through hands-on techniques. The goal is to of improve circulation, therefore, reducing inflammation and scar tissue helping to restore mobility lost due to injury.
